Systems Union and Brightspark work together on an on-going basis to maximise the financial software company's presence online. Systems Union provides financial and accounting software, payroll software and accounting and payroll stationery. It's customer base are IT Managers and Finance Managers who use the internet regularly to research products and services they wish to buy.
Brightspark put together a phased internet strategy for the business to ensure its target customers can find it online.
- First we worked on an information architecture to display Systems Union's services in a user friendly way. Content provided by the business was written to ensure consistency of style and maximum readability so that users can find the information they want in just 3 clicks.
- A site design was created that both conformed to the Systems Union Group branding requirements, but which included more graphics and design elements to add an Irish flavour to the site.
- The site was built using Red Technology's content management system and it was relaunched in summer 2005.
- Keywords used by System Union's target clients were researched and the site was optimised for high search engine rankings. An ongoing links exchange programme is underway to further enhance the site's rankings on the search engines.
- Systems Union Ireland communicates with its clients and prospects through regular html emails. Sign up here. These keep contacts up to date about new releases, special offers, and product updates.
"The implementation of Brightspark on a contract basis has a number of advantages for Systems Union - we can leave the internet marketing to the people with expertise resulting in cost savings in the form of internal staff. We also have the fresh outlook from an external person looking inward. Working together with Brightspark the projects are easier to manage. Our website's traffic is at a record high since we started to work with Brightspark and those figures speak for themselves!"Dee O'Brien, Marketing Manager, Systems Union Ireland
