Q. What is the ideal list size for emails?

A recent study by ExactTarget, found that open and click through rates were 250% higher for emails sent to lists of less than 100 subscribers than for emails sent to 100,000 subscribers or more.
Smaller is better when it comes to targeting the message and making the communication relevant.

Tips include identifying at least one group every time who do not need to receive your message! Your content can't be relevant for all people all of the time, so take the time out to make sure you don't fatigue your list by sending irrelevant material.
